Day 1: Delhi - Agra

You will be greeted and welcomed by our representative at the airport and you will be escorted to your pre-booked hotel. Relax for a while and then visit Qutub Minar made to celebrate the victory of success of Muslim ruler in Delhi after defeating Hindu ruler. Later on visit Red Fort which was residence of Mughal Empire for many years, India Gate, Rajghat and Lotus Temple built in the form of petals of lotus where you can feel connected to god and inner peace. After that you will travel towards Agra city which is 3-4 hours travel from New Delhi. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra post dinner. In Agra you can enjoy Mughlai cuisine that is very popular.

Day 2: Agra - Jaipur

Start your day with refreshing breakfast and then enjoy mesmerizing sunrise view at marvelous Tajmahal on the bank of River Yamuna and is surrounded by lush green gardens and fountains which add charm to its beauty. Take a glimpse of changing color of its marble with sunrays and moonlight. Next you will visit Agra Fort which lies parallel to River Yamuna and is built using red sand stones. It houses many palaces and the place where Shah Jahan was held prisoner by his son. Afterwards continue your drive towards Jaipur-Pink City. Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.

Day 3: Jaipur - Delhi

Post breakfast you will be escorted to Jaipur-pink city. On reaching there, visit Amber Fort situated on hilltop and overlooks Maota Lake where the sight is to behold. It comprises of many beautiful palaces like Sukh Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-E-Aam, Diwan-I-Khas and Sila Devi Temple. Enjoy Elephant ride and continue your tour towards City Palace situated in the heart of the city. It is home of two palaces i.e. Mubarak Mahal and Chandra Mahal. Chandra Mahal offers you fine view of the surroundings and city whereas Mubarak Mahal is now converted into museum where will witness stuff of Kings such as costumes, armory and weapons. After that you will be travel back to Delhi for your further journey.

The three day Golden Triangle tour costs 13,500 INR by car, 24,500 INR by tempo traveller, 30,000 INR by Force Urbania and 32,500 INR by bus. The price covers all transfers and sightseeing in an air conditioned vehicle, all taxes and toll charges, and pickup and drop within Delhi.

The Golden Triangle links Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, three cities that form a rough triangle on the map and together cover Mughal, Rajput and colonial heritage. Day one runs Delhi to Agra, day two Agra to Jaipur, and day three brings you from Jaipur back to Delhi, completing the circuit.

Day one takes you from Delhi to Agra for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Day two moves from Agra to Jaipur, usually with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Day three covers Jaipur sightseeing across Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal and City Palace before the drive back to Delhi in the evening.

The package includes all transfers and sightseeing by air conditioned vehicle, all taxes and toll charges, fuel cost and vehicle maintenance, driver charges, and pickup from and drop back to Delhi. Hotel accommodation, monument entrance fees, lunch and additional meals, and guide charges are not included and are arranged separately.

Three days covers the headline monuments at a brisk pace and is the most popular format for travellers on a tight schedule. If you want an unhurried experience with time for Fatehpur Sikri, Jaipur bazaars and a sunrise visit to the Taj, a four or five day version of the same circuit is considerably more comfortable.

For two to four travellers a car at 13,500 INR is the economical choice. Groups of nine to twenty are best served by a tempo traveller at 24,500 INR, which brings the per head cost well down. The Urbania at 30,000 INR suits groups wanting a premium cabin, and the bus at 32,500 INR handles larger parties.

October to March is the ideal window, with pleasant daytime temperatures across all three cities and clear conditions for photography at the Taj. April to June gets extremely hot in Agra and Jaipur, which makes long days of monument walking tiring. The monsoon months are workable but can bring humidity and occasional disruption.

The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, which is the single most important scheduling constraint on this circuit. We plan your itinerary around it so the Agra day never falls on a Friday. If your dates are fixed and include a Friday, we will reorder the circuit so that you see Agra on a different day.

Yes, and many groups do extend it. Common additions are Ranthambore for wildlife, Pushkar and Ajmer beyond Jaipur, or Mathura and Vrindavan on the Delhi Agra leg.
