Chardham Travel Route from Delhi
Chardham tempo traveller services will take you from Delhi to Yamunotri covering 450 km distance approx. From Yamunorti to Gangotri-2nd stop of Chardham covers 200 km distance. Next stop of Char Dham is Kedarnath at 250 kilometres and next stop is Badrinath covering 300 km in total.

Chardham Yatra from Delhi Travel Itinerary
As per dates of 2024, you can begin your Chardham yatra from Delhi on 9th May to reach Haridwar. Delhi to Haridwar distance is approx. 220 km and cover the distance in 4 hours.
Start the 11 days Chardham Journey from Haridwar to Barkot- base camp of Yamuotri Dham where you will stay overnight. Haridwar to Barkot distance is 192 km and cover the distance in 5-6 hours.
Reach Janki Chatti by car or tempo traveller which will take 1-2 hours to cover 45 km distance. Start a trek of 5 km by foot or take a horse ride to reach Yamunotri Temple. After darshan, trek back to Barkot and stay overnight.
Begin the drive to Uttrakashi. It will take approx. 3 hours to reach from Barkot to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple and local places. Stay overnight in the hotel. Barkot to Uttarkashi distance is 82 Km.
Gangotri Dham is easily accessible by vehicle, so here you will not require to trek. Visit Gangotri Temple by tempo traveller or bus and then return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay. Uttarkashi to Gangotri distance is 100 km.
Leave from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi which will take 7-8 hours and stay overnight here. Evening time is free to explore nearby attractions in Guptkashi. Distance of Uttarkashi to Guptkashi is 200 km approx.
This day is most challenging day reserved for Kedarnath trek. Leave your hotel in Guptkashi and drive towards Gaurikund via Sonprayag (30 km approx.). Gaurikund is base for Kedarnath Trek from where you have to trek for approx. 18-21 Km to reach the Kedarnath Temple. Depending on your physical stamina and weather conditions, trek time can be between 6-9 hours. Post arrival, darshan at Temple, and stay overnight in Kedarnath.
Wake up early in the morning and go for darshan of Lord Shiva again and trek back to Gaurikund followed by drive back to Guptkashi.
On 9th day of trip, you will leave for Pipalkoti, 4 hours drive from Guptakshi, Stay overnight in Pipalkoti. Guptkashi to Pipalkoti distance is 121 Km.
Drive to Badrinath which will take 2-3 hours to cover 75 km distance. Darshan at Badrinath Temple, explore the city and drive back to Pipalkoti. Stay overnight here.
Drive to Rudraprayag, one of Panch Prayag town ad see the beautiful confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini. Pipalkoti to Rudraprayag distance is 78 Km approx. and drive time is 2 hours.
After successful completion of Chardham yatra, drive back to Delhi by tempo traveller which will take approx. 8-9 hours from Rudraprayag. Distance of Delhi to Rudraprayag is 374 km.
